Lady Gaga

This post is not pro or against the person.

Personal opinion and preference are of different types.

I personally don’t know Lady Gaga.

I usually hear her songs during Christmas Season.

Dunno why. But her songs really up to beat generally at that time.

Momentarily, I’ve first seen her in an extreme make-up, different-ly long blond hair and innovatively looks and shiny outfit.

Her eyes are significantly bold probably because of make-up tricks.

And I just can’t help but remember her , her songs and her face specifically.
Initially I am bothered.

I don’t like people with those kind of eyes.

I just don’t know why.

Even Japs, I don’t like seeing one.
But I am not condemning her. Even her songs.
I don’t know and even care understand her songs.

All I know is that she is loved by many and her songs top the Billboard Chart.

As she is about to take her World Tour Concert, different moral and socio-cultural issues aroused.

Making me a lot more curious about her.
Indeed she was in the mainstream.

About hundreds of people with “Stop Lady Gaga Concert” placards initiated the rally.
They said her songs, videos and music mocks Jesus particularly her song JUDAS.

In Luke 6:37 it said that “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you.”

Maybe her songs offended many.

Maybe her music inspired many.

And maybe her videos may deplore Christianity.

But who am I to judge this person.

After all, we are not to judge. Let God judge.

May we have respect to each and everyone.

Let us only be vigilant to what we watch and hear.

Let us all guard our hearts.

Rom 12:2
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Ministry

“ Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Col 3:23

Everyone is called-out for a ministry.

God has given us talents and gifts we could use for the ministry God called us for.

I am in the healing ministry right now.
This is my profession. This is my vocation.
I am also in the ministry of light.

On the other hand, He is expanding my ministry.

Music.

God once said, You didn’t choose me, but I chose you.

There are some second thoughts.
No doubts. Only confusion.

I don’t wanna be a leader.

I just wanna be behind.
I want to be a free lance steward.

Silent leader, God is there such thing?? I wanna be one. -.-

I am accepting your ministry, prepare my heart.
So Help me God.

SACRIFICE

When it’s Lent , All I can hear is the word, SACRIFICE.

SACRIFICE is an act of losing or surrendering something that is valuable.

Pastor Ru once said, “ A sacrificing heart, understands that every good thing came from God. “

Everyone is planning not to eat meat. Or even to fast for a week or forty days.

This lent, what is that something you’ll sacrifice??

In the old testament, there a lot of burnt and sacrificial offering made by people.
These sacrifices are usually the best grain, cattle or sheep they have.
It was said by then God is more pleased and happier.
People believed that they can receive the forgiveness they need.

It is when the greatest SACRIFICE in history came abounding in love.

He is the word made flesh.

He is the fulfillment of the law.

He is the king of all kings.

The prince of peace.

The messiah.

The Saviour.

He is Jesus.

The greatest sacrifice.

That because of our sins, he accepted the fate of dying in the cross.

He was beaten. Bloodshed.

Yet, still his goodness and mercy for people he love magnified.

He’s only the begotten son.

He is “one of the every good thing”.

Yet he gave something that is valuable.

His life. :(

MAXIMIZE

Maximize is define “as to make the most of “ something or anything.

Few people really know this term…

Time is like so fast when you’re enjoying and so slow when something is so boring…toinks

But, with everything that you are doing, are you really maximizing everything?

With people, with things, with your job and with what God has given you… are you putting up the best in it?

Maximize it.

God came to give us a life and that we may have live it abundantly.

So, wear your sneakers on.

Paddle life with your bests.

Create a life adventure of your own.

Save more souls as you can.

And be a good person you can be.

Befriend your enemies.

Try out something new.

And face your fears.

Be with people you love.

Maximize your life. You only live once.

From someone now to somebody.

Yup. That’s some reality right now.

You did not choose who to stay and to leave.

Sometimes it might just have to end there.

“Temporal” a philosopher may say.

They only come to pass.

What matters most is you treasure the moment.

You actualize the cliché Carpe Diem.

That’s what reality said.

Consistency and Relationships may suffocate everyone.

They have to breathe and have some space.

None but Jesus.

He said “He is the same yesterday today and forever.”

The God of Many Chances #Grace

A churchmate of my mine recently sent the video of our praise and worship during the concert held last year in our church.

That song was “Your Grace is Enough”.

Yes this song testified how gracious our God is.

This song has been part of my life because it’s my “alarm and ringtone” back then (just like ptr.ru)

I did a profound introspection.

These past two weeks , I’ve been bombed and repeatedly being pointed.

Hooked. Shot. And caught by GRACE.

No matter what I am doing whether I sleep, I write or speak God is putting this word on my mind “GRACE”.

I opened my twitter account. There it is princedarby tweeted about Grace.

I checked my phone. I saw my friend’s sms from “Grace”. Ain’t joking.

Redundant “grace” has kept my mind busy.
If God is really up to something with me, I bet He really was .

And will always be.

I can’t really elaborate the parable of the forgiving father here (the prodigal son) but I can summarize it with this word - GRACE.

This was our “Yeshua Gathering message” was all about last time.

I am describing grace with its Acrostics itself.

G-iven-
R-edeeming
Abounding
C-hance
E-nduring

Given. Yes it is freely given to us no matter what. It’s God’s freebies. God’s unconditional gift unto us. Grab it. But please don’t abuse it.

Redeem. God’s grace redeemed us. He died instead of us. He’s redeemed us from our sin. That’s selfless redemption is grace in itself. We should appreciate it. Take care of it.

Abounding. The grace of God is not just enough but is more than enough because it is abounding. It’s lavishing. Running. Overflowing.

Chance. Yup. God is not a God of 2nd chances but merely a God of many chances. It may sound cliché’ but we can’t stand up and start anew without the grace of God. Our chances for a renewal and restoration is because of His grace.

Enduring. The Lord once said “his grace is sufficient for us”. No matter what, wherever we may be.

God’s grace will always be with us if we only believe and surrender everything to Him.

We endure every hard and rough steps in our lives because of His grace. From the time of creation and up until now, His mercies are always new every morning.
Grace.

We are undeserving.

But because it’s simply GIVEN unto us ,we are being REDEEMED when Jesus came

ABOUNDING in love.

Giving us the grace of CHANCE to be with him ENDURING til Eternity.

Amen.

NEVER THE STRANGER

You’re in the most familiar place you’ve been, yet you’re like a stranger.

The well designed edifice seemed so hollow.

The cold people, they may look as if you’re not actually there.

And all you can say is nothing. For everything is as if emptied.

Waking up out of your comfort zone where God placed you to be is a big challenge.

I met this leader.

She’s quiet.

She’s smart.

She’s cool though

. And I thought how she might have felt after everything.

We’re in the same shoes now.

As the warm breeze of summer air touches my being,
I am ironing out confusion and doubts etched on my mind.

Coughing out everything.

May God give me the discernment I need right now.

Right mind-set.

Fresh perspective.

Positive approach.

Renewed fellowship.

Restored Spirituality.

I declare that I may be never the stranger. But an epitome of His mercy and love.
